Show Bio
122 Music Management and Nuts On The Radio collaborate on a new project called '8-tracks', set up specifically to raise the profiles of emerging artists & their music.
Every week, we select eight tracks that we think are the finest independent releases recently heard; 122MM select four tunes, and NOTR pick the other four tracks. You can listen to, and vote for, this week's '8-tracks' at https://linktr.ee/nutsontheradio from Wednesday to Sunday.
All music selected for '8-tracks' comes from Bandcamp, and to keep things fresh and up-to-date, we choose tracks that have been released from the start of the previous calendar month.
'8-tracks' works on a 'league' basis and therefore most votes, wins. However, there is a slight twist.
Listeners have a total of 6 stars to hand out to their favourite tracks. The most they can allot to any track is 3 stars but other than that, it is entirely up to them how they dish out the stars amongst the eight tracks.
'8-tracks' runs from Wednesday evening (6pm GMT) until Sunday (12pm GMT) and the winner is declared at some point on the Sunday.
NOTR produces a monthly, 60 minute radio show on K-DUB Radio that features a number of the tunes on that months '8-tracks' and 122MM also builds a playlist of weekly winners shared throughout 2025 which listeners can check out at https://122musicmanagement.com/8-tracks
