UK-DUB Radio Show
Meet Kevin Procter
I’ve always loved music.
One of my earliest memories is watching my mother’s 45’s going round on the turntable of the old Dansette record player that she had, and that I was to inherit to play the singles that I occasionally purchased with some pocket money. I continued to spend every penny that crossed my palm on music, the scenes at the time were the New Wave / Punk and the NWOBHM (New Wave Of British Heavy Metal) that emerged in the 70s and 80s in the UK, and any gigs that I could get to. And I wanted to be on stage doing what those guys did, so I formed a band with some friends, which everyone seemed to be doing at that time, and I caught that bug too. |
Your children come and go and I now find that the urge to discover new music is returning stronger than ever, although mainstream radio doesn’t cut it these days and so you have to go find it for yourself on stations like KDUB Radio. And there is so much great new music out there that needs to be shared, whilst we still celebrate what’s gone by.
So welcome to The UKDUB Radio Show !!
My name is Kevin Procter and I’ll be sharing the best of the independent music that I’m spinning on my show in England along with some rock classics and British Invasion tunes. And you know me already, as I managed to get on stage as the bass player with ‘The Viewers’, who have a long standing relationship with KDUB, and The UKDUB Radio Show feels like a natural extension of that.
You can email me at KDUD or via the Socials below, and if you check out the Spotify Playlist for the show you’ll get a feel for what’s coming your way. Enjoy !
(Oh, and you can check out The Viewers at theviewers.bandzoogle.com)
